He has 15 years of expertise working in Construction Management, Fabrication and Operational management for both client and contractors, covering offshore high technology construction disciplines, pipelines, offshore modules, hook-up and topside installations, technical appraisal and assessment, both onshore and offshore.
During this time, he has demonstrated his ability to successfully deliver project execution planning with strict adherence to Safety, Risk Assessment & Quality Criteria, Human Resources functions such as hiring and screening personnel, leading operations management and negotiations, and providing excellent technical expertise on various complicated project issues.
Michael is a Chartered Professional Engineer with more than 20 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly with upstream gathering systems, trunklines, transmission pipelines and associated infrastructure, at many levels from design and commissioning to project engineering and management.
He has extensive experience as a design and project delivery lead, as well as, within pipeline and facilities construction and commissioning teams. He has managed capital and operational budgets, successfully delivered projects on schedule and to standard, by establishing and maintaining clear communication and shared understandings with all stakeholders.
Michael has diverse experience with design and analytical packages such as AutoCAD and Navisworks, Solidworks and Caesar II to validate compliance with piping and structural codes and for operability, SIMOP's and safety reviews.
Starting his engineering career in manufacturing, Michael’s petroleum facility experience would transfer well into either a plant and building services or minerals processing environment.
Anthony is a knowledgeable HSE professional with experience working on major projects within the Oil & Gas, Construction and Mining industries. He is well-versed in the implementation of HSE processes and programs as well as coaching project teams to achieve incident and injury free workplaces.
